CROKE PARK ECSTASYTipperary folk are wandering around in a happy daze since our visit to Dublin on Sunday July 20th to carry out an ambush on hot favourites Cork. At the beginning of this year our hopes would have been modest: qualification from Munster viewed as a successful first step in the return to hurling’s top table. And here we are at the zenith!!! Heartiest congratulations to all involved.

A happy crew from the Slievenamon Association Kilkenny in Fairview after the game on Sunday. Tomorrow, Saturday July 26, our camogie ladies take on Galway at 3pm in the All Ireland semifinal in Nowlan Park, a venue that is rapidly becoming a home away from home. They are captained by Mairéad Eviston, first cousin of Noel, John and Brian McGrath. Best of luck to them in what is sure to be a difficult assignment.
